As a former Gold Rush town, Golden, Colorado is full of history and fun

Located at the foothills of the sprawling Rocky Mountains is Golden, Colorado, a small town known for its old western roots and atmosphere. The area is steeped in history and tradition, with the area featuring many museums, guided tours, and events that celebrate the community’s heritage. However, Golden is more than its history — the community has a modern edge to it with its walkable downtown complete with fun restaurants, boutiques, and bars.
